★★★★★ I won't lie- I was a bit sceptical about buying this battery off of another site‚ but I couldn't afford to buy the laptop off of EBay for just parts‚ so I went with it.My laptop is an HP Pavilion DV6‚ and boy I just saved it for a bit longer! This battery is brilliant! It came a with a bit of charge so I could test my Pavilion without its charger. I'm happy to say that I no longer have to sit by my wall anymore. It works just like the original battery! Couldn't have asked for a better replacement for a good deal.If you're a Pavilion DV6 user and are looking for a replacement‚ this is the one!
★★★☆☆ I don't know why a battery like this one only lasts for a year or so, or why it is so expensive. I bought this item about a year ago, and, even though it supported my computer with power for the desired length of time, my indicators of amount of time left for the power, the indicator of volume, and the time all got fouled up. A computer technician told me it was the fault of the battery, so I got a new one. So, the indicator that the battery is failing may not be the indication of how much power is left, but rather the presence of the power and sound icons, and the accuracy of the time. This battery, quite expensive, should come with a time warranty.

I bought this one because of the great price but I was concerned that it was not the HP original, however my concerns were unwarranted, this battery looks exactly the same AND it holds a charge LONGER than the original HP battery ever did!
