★★★★★ I bought this Chromebook for a family member who, frankly, doesn't need Windows or MacOs.The fit and finish is very good. The hinge feels solid and the keyboard is nice. Video quality is great, particularly for their use case.I think the audio is a weak point. It doesn't sound that great but it's good enough for general use.I like that there are several ports including a USB type A port, which made hooking up legacy peripherals easy via a powered hub.All in all, happy with the purchase.
★★★★☆ I have been a Chromebook user for a number of years now and enjoy it. To that end, it was time to upgrade my machine when my son needed a Chromebook for school. So I ordered the 713 spin. Overall, I enjoy it. However, the battery life is horrible. You might get 6-8hrs out of it if you use zoom a lot. Also, you can not get a hard cover for it, which is problematic.
