★★★★☆ When this battery reaches about 30%, it immediately drops to 7%. It lasts 2.5 to 3 hours of continuous use, which is nowhere near as long as the original battery life which I believe was 5-7 hours. I completely cycled like the instructions suggest many times. But no matter how many times I cycled, it still behaves the same and lasts the same amount of time. But overall I would say it was still worth the price and effort to install since my battery would only last about 5-15 minutes and would give no warning when it would die.
★★★★★ Very easy to install - tools that came with were correct and very useful. Definitely easy to do for someone with 0 experience in technology.Only thing - when you remove old battery, press power button for 5 seconds THEN add new battery. This resets the “replace battery” message that will appear.
★★★☆☆ Over the 10+ years I've had my MBP, this is the 3rd time I've replaced the battery. My last replacement was about 3 years ago and that exact product is no longer available here at Amazon so I went with this one that had decent reviews and pricing. The first two replacement batteries were as good or better than the factory battery. This one is definitely sub-par given my experience with the previous two. It discharges much faster than I expected. It runs quite hot as well. At least I'm getting more than an hour from a full charge. Maybe these things are hit and miss but I wouldn't buy this one again.
