The dock is well made, feels robust, and is a lot cooler then the CarlDigit TB3+ I had before. My only complaint is that the USB ports will not provide the full 5v1a power. They're limited to 0.9a for the blue ports and 0.5a for the black ports. This isn't enough power to run all usb devices. When you try to use more power then it can give out, it doesn't handle it gracefully. I attached a thumb-drive and my MBP got very... wonky. The mouse would freeze trying to move and eventually OS X popped up a box saying "A USB device was using too much power and has been disabled". This caused the entire dock to be in a weird state, none of the USB devices worked until I turned off the computer and the dock and turned them back on again.Using a usbc adapter for the thumb-drive and it worked fine in the port on the front of the dock.I can't say I had any other issues, so I've knocked a star off for the lack of full power for the USB ports, but other then that, I've been very happy with the dock.
I have a 2021 16" Macbook Pro. When connecting two monitors if you want separate displays, you must use a USB-C connected HDMI/Displayport cable and an HDMI connected HDMI/Displayport cable. Otherwise, if you try to connect both monitors to the two HDMI ports, it will only mirror you display. According to the instructions it appears that this is not the case with a windows laptop. Other than this quirk the hub charges my laptop just fine and the display is crip. I give it a 4 star only because I wasted my money buying two hdmi cables and then had to go buy a USB-C cable. There is no displayport on the hub, only HDMI and USB-C.
Contrary to the advertisement, this does not support a single nor dual 4K monitors at 60hz. No support, this product is not even listed on their website.
