★★★★☆ Pros: - full keyboard - backlit keyboard - was looking for a compact/non clunkly design and got it Cons: - the OEM windows installed had setting locked off (as if the computer was part of a corporation, idk why) which required group policy editor which isn't available on the Windows 10 Home version installed. I ended up installing 10 Pro from an installation disk i had on hand after formatting the drive Overall Review: Once I got through the re-installation of windows + updates + drivers everything has been great. I haven't gotten enough time playing games to adequately review the new Xie on-board graphics.

★★★★☆ Pros: -fast-sleek-great keyboard-no bloatware, just McAfee and Office (easy to remove)-excellent value Cons: - ASUS could have loaded the User Guide ahead of time. Overall Review: I've been an ASUS user for 12 years. Their products are will made and last. This laptop replaced an N53SV core i7 that I got in December 2010. It was still going strong. I hated to give it up; but it was getting impossible to buy replacement parts.Love the feel of the new keyboard and the matte silver finish is easy on the eyes. Took a while to figure out the Action Center was where I needed to go to get everything setup. I did not like being forced to go through Cortana to do the initial set up. I'm an old IT pro and used to doing stuff my way.A week into using this and I'm now comfortable with where ASUS moved some of the keys. I do miss not being able to jump to the top of the screen by just hitting the "home" key; hate that I have to press the fn at the same time.
