Pros: Two screen open up many possibilities. I do a lot of photoshop work and I love to be able to put tool menus on the 2nd monitor and open up the main monitor. Having access to more real estate to put charts, newsfeeds and info is priceless. Cons: Minor, no real pgup/pgdn keys. You need to hold the Fn key + down arrow to pgup or pgdn. Another set of USB ports would have been nice so to not having to use or carry a hub. Not really a con for me but no SD port, just noticed that feature not on the computer. I use to love the documentation I got from ASUS, not anymore. Even their online manual IMHO is substandard. Overall Review: This is my 2nd Zenbook Pro with a 4K touch/monitor. I got my 1st one almost 4 years ago so I have some idea of how to handle 4K monitor issues. With that said, This 4K monitor buried my old laptop 4K. The video is better than I could have wished for. I'm keeping the brightness at about 50% for normal use. It's still brighter than my older system. I'm able to use XPlane11 with reasonable HDR settings and using both screens in extended mode, getting ~60fps. Heat has not been an issue under normal use. If you are an all day game player then I'd say buy a different laptop. After a hour with XPlane it got warm but not hot. I'm sure you could get it hot with some modern games. I like the keyboard position. Bottom line, best laptop I've ever owned. So it heavy, reality is 1lb more that my current laptop but a smaller footprint. I'd buy again. SSD access from the USB ports using A CORSAIR GTX 256g 350-390MB's moving large files. Three week in: This OLED screen is the best screen I've ever used. The colors and life like look is just amazing. It has the blackest black. Using XPlane 11 flying at night the only thing missing is the gforce on my seat. I'm still wowed after three weeks.
Pros: Fast and well designed. Cons: None Overall Review: Fair price for a laptop of this caliber.
Pros: Gorgeous graphics on 4k screen. I bought this mainly to accomplish productivity tasks (Church teaching) and watch movies. It has enough power to do all the above with enough storage, cpu, and rtx graphics components. I purchased a laptop cooler to remove added heat. It probably would have been okay without it but my last laptop was too hot and it stopped working. I will take now chances with this Asus. I like the hinge that lifts the bottom for better air flow. Keyboard, trackpad, and additional 14"x4" screen is good. I have yet to learn all the ways to use the 2nd screen. Cons: Sound is not so good. I'm used to computers and laptops with louder volume. My Samsung tablet and dead Huawei laptop have 4 speakers and sounded awesome. This Asus laptop is too quiet. Even with headphones it isn't up to my desire. I purchased online software to increase volume and now the laptop is great for sound. There are free sound enhancement apps that can help. If you buy this laptop consider buying this type of app. I wish Asus had a comprehensive manual explaining how to best use the 2nd screen. I've watched YouTube demos but they are not that specific and go too fast. Overall Review: I would buy again and will learn the 2nd screen aspects. Overall, a well made laptop with sufficient power and beautiful presentation.
