★★★★★ I'm very pleased with this computer! I've had it for over a month now and it's very fast. I attribute this primarily to the solid state drive. I doubt I'll ever buy a computer without one again. It's not noisy, has adequate sound and graphics (not full HD 1080p plus though) and the keyboard is good. IF it'd had a backlit keyboard I'd have been ecstatic.Plus, it all came in for under $500. My last Dell laptop (at over $1,000) lasted seven years before it finally crashed recently. I like this new one much better.
★★☆☆☆ My husband wanted a new Dell Laptop. This is his 3rd one in about 15 years for him. He picked out the one he wanted and said he had made sure it had everything he needed. This is the very first time I did not second guess him and didn't question any of his decision.Well guess what?????#1 The keyboard in not back lit. So you need either great lighting or a clip on light. Luckily Amazon sells those also that are rechargeable, small and a very fair price!#2 For a laptop this is very heavy. For a brand new one I was totally shocked!!!!#3 Start up. This was the most iffy start up I have even seen. It wants all these different Passwords set up right now or it doesn't work! Also, between Microsoft and the antivirus software they wanted you to buy it was crazy. I called a phone number, this appeared on the screen for help. That person very soooo rude, and wanted $199.00 just to instal malware because he said from what I was telling time the computer was already infected!!! Great! He kept on and on, I finally said I thought he was a scammer. Well what a real butthead he was then. I hung up and worked it out myself. Once I got it to working, I called McAfee to get our account set up on the new Dell and all the protection added too. All in all I got it up and running, but I will be sure to scrutinize any other laptop that is bought in this household!!! Bottom Line, SKIP THIS DELL. Go for a little higher end. For sure you get what you pay for!!!!
★★★☆☆ The product is good for its price, but I noticed that it only has 105 GB capacity when it says 128 GB SSD on the description. For me, the capacity is very important so I would like to know if this is intended or I got less capacity than offered.
