★☆☆☆☆ The vendor's description on this Chromebook implied it was a new Chromebook and had a lower priced option if you wanted to take a chance on a renewed device. I paid full price and bought the new device. What showed up was a box that had been opened and obviously re-taped shut. The Chromebook that showed up still had the previous owner's userid on the device. You would think if a vendor was going to send used stuff they would at least use the Chromebook power wash command to remove the last owners residue. Even more irritating, the Chromebook would not hold a charge and after 12 hours of charging had only a 1% charge.I am returning the device and will not buy anything from this vendor ever again, they are just a junk recycler.

★★☆☆☆ I bought this for my son going into Kindergarten. The build quality is great. Performance is fine, it's not the fastest Chromebook but it's good value for money.I found the display disappointing: it is very low contrast and looks washed out. You can adjust the brightness, but you can't fix the contrast. I thought about keeping this as an 'emergency/backup' laptop, but ended up returning it to get a touchscreen one instead.

★☆☆☆☆ Do not buy this POS product. Its not compatible with ANY windows or MAC based programs. This is literally ANY SOFTWARE YOU COULD EVER WANT TO USE! Its useless. Worst money I ever spent. Absolutely worthless. I will never buy anything chrome again. WASTE OF MONEY!
