Pros- easy to set up. Great screen quality and speakers gave great sound. Battery life is amazing.Cons- The Back lit keyboard is not back lit and no instructions online on how to illuminate them,it didn't come with any type of instructions
While I did enjoy using this flipbook, it did not meet my needs. Multi tab browsing is slow, and the wireless speed was not great. Loading more than one tab that maybe had a images or video would cause it to load whatever tab youre on abysmally slow to the point of just watching it on my phone. A whopping .08 upload speed next to the router. I dont know what I expected for something that cost less than my phone, but the performance aspect of this chromebook is lacking. The touchscreen and tablet mode are great, but only in daylight. The screen has a small viewing angle, so it can only be viewed from about a 15 degree segment right at it, top to bottom. if you flip it into portrait mode, this all goes out the window and you see black spots throughout the screen. Bluetooth disconnected often. was really frustrating with headphones.Perhaps the most egregious problem, is that whenever you needed to switch wifi networks, despite having been on the network, required a password. I have 2 in my home to cover the area, and it was a pain to constantly type in the password to reconnect.
Almost perfect.... But the screen is the kind that can only be viewed at exactly one correct angle. If viewed from any other angle, it washes out or appears dark. I honestly forgot that screens like this even existed, it's been so long since I've seen one. Ironic, given the "viewing from any angle" claim. Everything else is great.
