Unfortunately something happened to my Lenovo Yoga's screen. It was surprising how hard it was to find all the details of the repair procedure let alone find an OEM LCD/touchscreen assembly but LCDOLED seemed to fit the bill. The FHD kit contains everything you need, including the adhesive backing, and an extra set of cables in case yours were damaged. In my case, I just removed the cracked LCD panel and was able to use the existing cable, saving me from having to remove the bottom cover.Make sure you watch the video, it is helpful. When you first remove the screws at the bottom of the panel you will need to grab hold of the bottoms of two small pieces of black tape. You will need to slowly and consistently pull the tape down and avoid snapping it.The touch screen and the panel do work great so far (only one day into install) however I docked it one star because the color on this panel is not quite as vivid and rich as the original.
The installation video was spot on. Its the main reason I picked this replacement screen. My screen was broken due to the well known Yoga hinge issue. The hinge becomes unbonded from the cover, and breaks thru the screen when trying to open the cover... bad/not enough adhesive is the issue. I removed the old screen per video instructions and used JB Weld Quick to repair the debonded hinge. I also applied the epoxy to the other hinges perimiter - insurance, made me feel better anyway. New screen used a different connector than my wiring harness provided, but the screen came with the correct harness. I removed and reinstalled the new harness, tested it on the bench with the new screen and all was good. Reassembly went well and screen and touch capability all works as it should. The only downside to this kit is the type of adhesive strips provided. I love that they included them, but they cannot be used as the original ones were. The OEM strips make a turn and stick out the bottom for easy removal. The included strips are just straight, so they will not be able to be removed in the same way if the screen needs replaced again. I'm glad they were included, made the job easier - but its gonna be a pain to do again if necessary later... Anyway, solid replacement with everything I needed to make this repair. I'd buy it again if I needed to do another 710 screen fix for sure.
Just installed and the screen is working great. To me the quality seems identical to the original. Took me about an hour to do the install. It's pretty simple if you've had experience replacing cell phone screens, etc. before. I've never replaced a laptop screen previously but I found this to be easy. Just be careful you don't break anything while you're doing the install (obviously).
