Pros: - Great specs for the dollar - Speakers exceeded expectations - The screen is excellent (I'm surprised they didn't put in a bad panel to save money) - The NVMe SSD is very fast - All aluminum chassis looks sleek and the color is perfect Cons: - All aluminum chassis makes the machine get a little warm during setting. - Not a whole lot of media coverage to base decision off of Overall Review: I would highly recommend this laptop. Coming from a ~$700 HP laptop this was definitely worth the extra expense. There was not a lot of media coverage on this laptop to base my purchase off of at the time of purchase. So hopefully this helps you to make yours.
Pros: I bought this for my daughter who is in 8th grade but will be headed into high school shortly. I just unpacked and set it up which was easy to do. I installed Microsoft Office, Chrome, and a couple other applications she either needs or likes. The screen looks good the laptop is very light and thin a perfect tool for school. Cons: Perfect is many ways and I was looking for a laptop with Thunderbolt connections so an external video card can be used with it. The only change I would make is it came with 16gb memory and 512gb SSD it would have been nice for a little more if we could have gotten it with 32gb memory and 1tb SSD. The 17” laptops my wife and I have that are several years old have basically the same specs without the Thunderbolt ports but with video cards instead, and only 256gb SSDs. Computer specs aren’t changing as fast as they used to and I think this will get her at least through high school. Overall Review: A great laptop for the money and the Thunderbolt ports make it infinitely more flexible. Only drawback is it couldn’t be configured with more memory both main and SSD.
