★★★★★ Screen arrived on time, very well packaged in bubble wrap and air pillows. Took only a few minutes to install and looks GREAT! I was scared to tackle this project myself but couldn't find any friends who were tech savvy enough to do it either. Searched my laptop model on You Tube for some tutorials, and wow, it was super easy, two external screws, gently snap off plastic bezel cover, then 4 main screws on frame, and 4 more on small metal frame that hold the screen in place. The hardest part of disassembly was snapping each tab of the bezel open carefully, not hard, just time consuming (all of 3-5 mins though). The hardest part of reassembly was handling the tiny screws, I am not good like that. All together process took 15-20 minutes, including looking for screws I kept dropping. Back to screen, colors are vibrant,I don't spot any weak spots/dead pixels, An awesome alternative to paying hundreds for a professional to do it, or getting a new laptop. I would highly recommend anyone in doubt to purchase this screen and not be intimidated by doing it on their own.

★★★☆☆ Review Update:Received my replacement screen 04/29/2020. When my geek unpacked, edges of screen casing were chipped and scratched. This damage was not related to shipping. As the package was sufficiently wrapped. The product description indicates this is a new item. Unfortunately we can’t wait to do another replacement screen so we went ahead with the install. At least this time the screen worked, but the item looked used or refurbished.I purchased this to replace a damaged screen on my Dell Inspiron. After replacement the screen was completely dark. My computer geek indicates the backlight was not operating properly. We have returned the item for replacement in the hopes we just received a defective item.

★★★★★ Best buy wanted $500 and 2 weeks to repair the original screen which was stepped on. I watched YouTube video on how to install. Screen came in 2 days and it took me 45 minutes to carefully remove the old screen and about 10 minutes to put it back together. YouTube video was over complicated. I removed many fewer screws than they said to and carefully moved the thin frame that holds the screen without bending it. BE CAREFUL TO ORDER THE CORRECT SCREEN. MY FIRST ATTEMPT HAD TO BE SENT BACK FRO THE SCREEN WITH THE PROPER FITTINGS… Recommend removing damaged screen first to check serial number and connectors (to get the proper unit)
