★★★★★ When you use a laptop you some times find you are looking down vs across creating neck strain. This would help to solve the problem by being adjustable and bringing the height of the screen up to a more comfortable viewing area. This also will raise the keyboard unless you have a separate Bluetooth keyboard.The unit is light weight and will collapse down to fit in my laptop bag. I like that it has holes in it so it will allow ventilation under the laptop.I know my laptop can get hot when just sitting on a pad so having vents to me is a good thing. My laptop is a surface book2 and this supported the laptop weight. The pulling up of the unit is stiff but I believe that is to help with laptop weight.So the plus points1. Lite weight2. Adjustable3. Compact4 Two colors Silver and available in BlackWhile this supported my laptop with out any problem ( it has a foldout bar) I could see adding a Velcro strip on computer and stand for extra support. Additionally some people may need a separate keyboard for typingI try to not add a lot of equipment when traveling but many people use laptops at home and a few additional accessories can make life better.The stand can go a bit higher then in my photos but my Surface book has limited openingOverall it works Good value for the money.
★★★★★ I absolutely love this laptop stand. It is a lightweight (800 gr ~ 1.7 lb) aluminum stand with a durable design. It has non-slip silicone pads on the surface and on the bottom of the stand to prevent any movements. There are extra pads in the packaging too. It is foldable and this makes it easy to put in the backpack. I also love the surface edge that holds the laptop from falling.In the QA, someone mentioned this is compatible with laptops 7.9-12.9". I disagree. I put my brand new 17" laptop on the stand and it is totally fine. One thing the product page claimed is that the stand can support up to 44 lbs of load. I had to test their claim. I put two 15 lb dumbbells on this (see photos) and it did not even move. I did not have another dumbbell to reach the 45 lbs to see what will happen. I can confirm if you have the heaviest laptop on earth and it happens to be 30 lbs, you can use this stand with peace of mind. Highly recommend this.
★★★★★ This laptop stand is really sturdy. I especially like it, that the blue cover for my MacBook Air works with this stand. The dimensions of the pads (see white nubs in the second photo) for the cover fits exactly on the outside of the boundary of the stand. This keeps the laptop from sliding left or right and makes it very stable without using the rubber pads, which came with the stand. My wife especially likes this stand, as she has neck problems and pains, and this stand provides better ergonomics and allow her to sit and work for longer periods of time.
