User reviews

I have only used this laptop for a few days. However, I thought it was right to leave a review considering that one of the specifications on the Amazon page is incorrect. The refresh rate of this laptop's monitor is 144 Hz (not 120 Hz as advertised). I don't see this as a drawback, but the product page should contain accurate information. The screen on this laptop is fantastic, by the way. This specific model seems to be a downgraded version of a higher-end MSI laptop that has downgraded internals (GPU, CPU). It still has the high-end NVMe SSD.I am recommending it for now.
I make digital art but also game so I was looking for a good gaming laptop. I was recommended this brand and I was not disappointed! I love this thing. I can play GTA V with no issues and I can make my drawings 600dpi and more without lagging my computer. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a powerful laptop. Also, the picture on it is really good thanks to the graphics card. It's perfect for what I wanted it for.
Purchased this laptop recently in hopes of some very casual gaming, ran into problems almost immediately. Originally started up fine and the battery life was very good, but as I left it to charge the rest of the way, the laptop went black and would not turn on properly. After a few hours of this, I decided to try to reinstall Windows 10 as there was a lot of bloatware anyway. Had many issues with the fresh install so had to reinstall it again.Suddenly realized the laptop battery would only charge to 95% and would only hold a charge for about 1 hour 30 minutes (a severe dip from the original 6 hours) on day two of owning it.) even when only doing light internet browsing. On top of this, even on lowest setting, it's running games it should be able to run just at 60fps at a lowly 10 to 25fps. I feel perhaps I may have gotten a refurbished or botched model. As for the general build of the laptop, the edges where your wrists rest are somewhat unpleasant, almost sharp. The keys are placed awkwardly and the track pad is pretty off with precision. Even if it feels like you're clicking the left button, you're probably still clicking the right one.I wanted to enjoy this laptop and I'll likely continue to use it, but I'm just overall disappointed with the purchase so far. Perhaps with a RAM upgrade and a new battery, it might be a 3-star laptop for the price.TL;DRWould I recommend buying this laptop? Maybe. I'd say it's a big buyer beware and make sure to test everything you want to use it for asap to make sure there are no flaws so you can return it if necessary.
