★★★☆☆ Simply said, the first battery I received had a tear in the cover where the cable entered the battery. Although I simply taped up the tear and installed it, after a few days of operation the computer began showing a defective battery warning and only lasting about 1 hour or less on a full charge, with inconsistent discharge times. Amazon was great in sending out a second battery which arrived in good condition and appears to last 3-4 hours, about the same as the factory original.Update on second battery: The second battery failed in the same way as the first. Although the return by date from Amazon had closed, the seller was extremely helpful in resolving the issue. There appears to be a problem in the lot of batteries of which I received two. The Seller is researching the problem and has issued a refund for the second defective battery in the mean time. As they were very helpful, I believe the seller will find the problem and provide quality product in the future. I am giving an average score between the two batteries, for effort.
★☆☆☆☆ My laptop didn't recognize the battery for a whole week. The charging details were never present. It would always show 100 % charged or battery details unavailable. The laptop would shut down as soon as the charger was disconnected.As soon as i put my old (non working original battery that came with the laptop) battery in, it showed all the details. Ofcourse the charge doesn't hold (the reason which I tried to buy the new one for).This seems to have the same exact description on its back as my old battery's but still looked like my HP Envy x360 didn't seem to have accepted it. Either the battery is fake (the connection wasn't loose or else it wouldn't have worked at all) or my laptop is pretty old (but it works fine again on the old battery). Not sure what's the case here. Just wanted to leave a review and see if anyone else has faced the same issue and / or recommend me a good one.
