SCREENARAMA New Screen Replacement for Lenovo Thinkpad T440P, FHD 1920×1080, IPS, Matte, LCD LED Display with Tools

★★☆☆☆ I loved that I saved a bundle of cash buying this as a replacement for the cracked screen that came with my Lenovo T440p. The OEM one was VERY dull, and I couldn't see any videos when I shifted my head to the left or right just a little bit. It was if I had a "JERRY-RIGGED" privacy screen filter. I was excited to get a new one at such a cheap price and the description made it seem as if this was an upgrade, but it was THE EXACT SAME QUALITY - if not worse. When I look at the screen during dark scenes, it looks like someone is pressing their finger against the screen very hard. This is NOT due to me installing it incorrectly, or over-tightening something. It came like that. I am disappointed, especially because I am writing this review with the "GHOST FINGERED" screen right this very moment. It doesn't affect my work-flow or anything, its just annoying to anybody with OCD.

Even though it is listed for a different laptop, I installed the screen in a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 2 that came with a 1600x900 screen originally. This FHD screen works with no issues and took about 15 minutes to install. Now I have a 1080P screen upgrade that is brighter and sharper than my old screen. I went with the glossy version and so far no issues. Great screen and great seller. The added tools were a plus compared to other sellers. Highly recommend this screen and seller.
