★★★★★ I have a Dell Inspiron 5567 laptop and this battery is the exact right one. I found a youtube video that showed me how to remove the old battery and replace it with the new one. It looks like Dell didn't really want you to replace it, but it's very doable with some effort. Check out the videos before buying the battery.
★★☆☆☆ I purchased this battery for my dell computer because the battery would not fully charge anymore and I kept getting a warning about an unrecognized ac adapter. I installed this battery, let it drain to 3% and then fully charged it, as instructed. Everything seemed to be working fine, but the batter still wouldn't fully charge. I did more research and found that my dell computer has special power management protocols for machines that are always plugged in to prolong battery life, including only charging to under 90%. I intended to keep the battery, but when I removed the laptop from the charger, I noticed that the machine was extra sensitive to movement. When I'd pick up and move my computer it would disconnect from battery power and shut off. The old battery is now re-installed and when I remove it from the charger and move it around it doesn't lose power so I expect that this is a faulty product.
★★★★★ My original battery for my Dell Laptop was down to only lasting 10 minute after fully charging about an hour. I purchased this to replace that battery. I am not great at opening up laptops to get at components and replacing them. I was able to get that done in about 40 minute (i know i am slow). I let the laptop charge for about an hour before checking on the battery and it was fully charged. I have been using new battery for about 3 weeks now and it appears to last about 3.5 hours on full charge. This the same as original Dell battery when it was new. I have noticed any extra heat from new battery and am very happy to have it replaced so my laptop is free to wander (unwired) again.
