★★★★★ I have no complaints about this product. It does what it is supposed to do, and does it acceptably. The covers are very thin, and not prevent any of our laptops from closing easily. They are easy to open and closed with a fingernail. The adhesive on these isn't strong, but then you don't want it to be... Stronger adhesive could damage your laptop! They are just sticky enough to stay in place, but not so sticky they aren't still easy to remove without damage to your computer. This could be very important, if, for example, you need to secure the camera on a work-assigned laptop that you don't personally own. We have used these on a personal laptop and two different work-assigned laptops, and they seem to work really well. Glad I found these, no complaints. If I needed more, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again.
★★☆☆☆ These are fine but they are super loose so if you have your phone sideways it will just slip open constantly. They would be fine on a laptop but I wouldn’t recommend them for a phone that is moving around a lot.
★★★☆☆ I found that these block essential components located near the camera on many devices. For example on my 2nd Gen Echo Show, it couldn't be installed without covering one of the 8 mics. On my Surface Pro it had to cover either the infrared Windows authentication camera (to the left), or the camera status LED (to the right), I covered the LED. And on my iPhone 7 front facing camera, it had to be installed to the left of the camera, so it hangs off the end of my screen protector, otherwise it would block the ear piece, ambient light sensor, and/or proximity sensors.That said, I did find way's to install them on each device with small caveats, and minimal impact to functionality (my Echo Show still hears me with one mic covered...).Honestly, I feel like many of these devices should have a physical shutter like this built in.
