★★★★☆ This is a small piece of foam that sticks to glass and plastic and withstands lots of un-sticking and re-sticking. The product photo is a bit deceiving -- the foam is actually white with just a black top layer. You can see the white all the way around the edge which doesn't really look that nice -- see my photo. Would I buy another? Sure, but I think $2-3 is a more reasonable price.
★☆☆☆☆ The product image shows a smooth, matte black square with beveled edges. The product does NOT look like this. Instead, it's a square of neoprene-like material which has white edges, which makes the cover look pretty ugly and stand out on the screen.You the have to look at this ragged square of neoprene while working on your laptop.See the attached photo.
★★★★★ Great product!! It works very well. It come of and re-applies easily without leaving residue or marks. My only complaint is that it looks a little dingy on the edges even though I haven't touched it much.This product works perfectly on a MacBook, with or without a screen protector. Just make sure to keep the cover area clean and don't handle the cover with greasy/dirty fingers (duh). It doesn't impact the sleep mode or cover of my computer. I'm pretty confident that this would work on an iPad or tablet as long as there's enough space for the cover to stick.I don't know how many times you can reuse this cover until it stops sticking, but I'm sure it will be quite a while before I will have to replace it.
