I just wanted something cheap. That is exactly what you get with this.It fits the Logitech C922 and C920 perfectly. It just feels extremely cheap plastic. The adhesive is strong but I had difficulty removing the protective strip to apply it. The adhesive kept coming off of the cover at fist.Once I got it on the camera it did it’s job. The problem is the plastic is so poor that it feels very brittle. Add to the fact that the cover is held on by a thin strip of plastic that after 1 day already has stress marks on it.This does the job of covering your camera for 1/5th the price of other covers. I can tell that I’m going to have this held on with tape when the plastic inevitably breaks. It’s only a matter of time.
I have a no-name brand webcam at work, which is similar to the Logitec in style. I measured my lens before I ordered, and the actual cap fits perfectly over it. It also looks like it is part of the original webcam. My only criticism is that the "latch," which is a tiny prong of plastic that fits inside a hole on the other side, isn't very strong. It keeps popping open. It so far has still stayed mostly shut and still blocks the camera from view, but I don't know if this will remain the case.
Bought a cheap $10 usb web camera that didn't have a privacy cap. On my particular camera, these luckily fit onto the protruding lens/eye as a friction fit, so there was actually no need for me to remove the adhesive. The cap would not initially snap shut, I had to take a razor blade and remove a little bit of plastic flashing and then it closed/snapped shut fine.Looks a little nicer and more convenient than scotch-taping a piece of paper over the lens. For the price it's fine.
